About
the QPC
The
Queensland Philatelic Council is the representative body for Queensland
on the Australian Philatelic Federation. Its members consist of the
majority of Queensland Stamp Clubs, some private collector members,
many Stamp Dealers and Australia Post. It was formed to take the place
of the two previous organisations - Queensland Stamp Promotion Council
and the Philatelic Association of Queensland, when they were dissolved
in November 1985.
Objectives
To
promote, advise on and develop all aspects of philately throughout Queensland
and to provide State representation for the hobby within Australia
as set out in the Australian Philatelic Federation Ltd. guidelines.
Aims
To encourage
more people to become involved in organised philately. |
